New Mutineer Sailors

By: Hugh Armbruster

During the past sailing season Nickels has delivered several new Mutineers to various parts of the country. Michigan resident Ricky B. took delivery in the early spring and while he had experience as a youth sailing small boats this was his first exposure to the Mutineer. Ken D. in Arizona\'s Sedona area has been single handing his boat this past summer. He hopefully will be sailing more now that their summer heat is lessening and may connect with the large group of Buccaneer sailors in Phoenix. Dave W. and his wife in the Toronto area have been sailing their Mutineer out of the Mississauga area under the watchful eye of Bruce Buckingham the Nickels Representative in Canada. Bruce also sold boats to more northerly areas to Ernie F. and Mell H. and Bruce B. all of whom had plans to use their boats with their families. The Canadian Mutineer sailors have grown significantly over the past year. Dave C. a long time Buccaneer sailor has added a Mutineer to his fleet during the past season and is expected to be sailing in the upcoming Nationals.

We here at Nickels have appreciated the support of these new Mutineer sailors and their families. We know they will receive warm welcomes from the class and from other Mutineer sailors they encounter while sailing their new boats.
